New Zealand researchers are finishing up trials using ABS-182 as an microbial enhancer and observing improvements in chlorophyll content of 300% over control plots of strawberries. Also, a 22% increase in sugars and the leaf surfaces have a polished/shiny appearance. Root and trunk mass is much greater and the xylem vessels are larger. Testing is now starting on mushrooms.

The trial consists of six greenhouses, 10 sq. metres each; three irrigated with 10-15 ppm of ABS-182 and three without. The plots have a physical separation of one mile to prevent cross-contamination. More chlorophyll production improves photosynthesis.

ABS-182 is sprayed on the soil surface, stimulating soil microbes, digesting organic matter, improving the aerobic/oxygen levels in the soil and making nutrients more readily available to plants. Microbes convert nitrogen and sulfur to forms that plants can use.

Rates: 10 ppm requires 10 ml of ABS-182 per 1000 litres of irrigation water

15 ppm requires 15 ml of ABS-182 per 1500 litres of irrigation water
