Sewer Line Cleaning, Odor/Septicity
Control
and Remediation Processing
After six years of research, we are pleased
to introduce the
Sewer Conveyance Line Cleaning Process
reducing energy
costs, water flushing, labor,
capital equipment
investment and other operational costs.

The core of the ABS-Sewer Cleaning
Processing (Intl. patent pending) is a combination of
Direct Oxidation and Bio-remediation:
Direct
Oxidation to clear organic masses and
slimes
Bio-remediation to prevent corrosion, toxic gas buildup and sludge
handling;
Sewage odor in long sewer line conveyance networks is very common in modern,
highly populated, congested cities. Conventional mechanical sewer-cleaning
methods are costly, utilizing, jetting, pigging and mechanical excavating.
ABS-Sewer Cleaning Processing has
successfully treated more than 6 billion metric tons of municipal and
industrial sewage in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China since 2001.
In-situ
Applications and Field Studies Results:
·
This review is primarily based on information supplied by
end-users; the samples analysis from Hong
Kong Polytechnic University and UK accredited laboratories in Hong Kong, covering
the in-situ application and experience related to wastewater treatment plants,
mechanical plant/septic drain field, dyke lakes, Sewer/Stormwater conveyance
line remediation and cleaning.
·
Sewer Odor/Septicity Control and Sewer Cleaning Field Trials: consisted of 20 hotels and 5 major shopping malls
attempting to replace the various traditional mechanical sewer cleaning methods
in Hong Kong from 2000-2001. Trials were a huge success in replacing
traditional water-jetting sewer cleaning in terms of effectiveness and
economical benefits.
·
Sewer Odor/Septicity Control and Sewer Cleaning Field Trial
for Municipal Wastewater/Stormwater Sewer Conveyance Lines: consists of two 2.5 km long x 10 meter wide and one 4.5 km
in length x 10 meter wide, combined urban raw sewage and stormwater conduits in
City of Fuzhou; and one 30,000 metric tons Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant
in Beijing, China in 2002-2003. The trials were successful in replacing the
traditional “Flushing” Sewer Cleaning Method.
·
Hong Kong adopting ABS-Sewer Cleaning Processing in a “total enclosed, pressurized 7.5 km in length and
2000 mm diameter; carrying 35,000 metric tons daily flow-rate” urban/airport
sewer conveyance line” remediation in year of 2003. The 30 days trial proved ABS-Sewer Cleaning Processing qualified for
International Submarine Discharge Criteria and were more effective and
economical than using liquid oxygen plus 53% Calcium Nitrate Solution.
·
Three 5000 metric tons ultra-high concentration Municipal
Landfill Wastewater Treatment Plants in Southern Taiwan adopted ABS-Sewer Cleaning Processing to replace the
tradition mechanical jetting and flushing methods in 2003. The results
indicated ABS-Sewer Cleaning Processing helped to save more than 20% of their
operating budget by reducing water and electricity consumption.

Conventional
sewer cleaning Odor/Septicity Control technologies are far too costly in terms of energy consumption, water
wastages, waste sludge handling, landfill space, released toxic gases and
wastes threatening a progressively fragile environment.
Conventional sewer cleaning cannot provide a
solution to:
·
Sewer line corrosion
caused by toxic gases;
·
Organic constriction;
·
Deprived penetrating
distance;
·
Generation of large amounts
of hazardous organic and inorganic wastes.
The Objectives of ABS-Sewer Cleaning
Processing:
·
No
gasoline/electricity gorging equipments
·
No release of toxic
gases and organic odor
·
Prevention of organic
slimes and masses
·
Breaks down organic
masses into fine fragments
·
No excavation, water
flushing or water jetting
·
Precision and Highly
Reproducible Results
·
Penetrating Distance
up to 20Km per application
·
All Materials are 100%
Environmentally benign and nontoxic
